Longxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,
which attached to TCM was established in 1951.It
was assigned be to the teaching hospital of
Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in
1981, In 1993,with the sanction of Beijing
Municipal Government, Ministry of Health and
State Administration of Traditional Chinese
Medicine, there established a " famous
doctor's hall ". In 2002 it changed the
name into "TMC college of CPUMS attached
Longxi TCM Hospital" in pace with the
organizational reform of the TCM College.
It became the teaching hospital of Beijing
college of Acupuncture & Orthopedics since
the 1996. then was classified as the hospital
concerning foreign affairs in 1998, meanwhile,
it also was determined as the " service
center of the AnDingMeng community "..
After
a few years development, The Longxi TCM Hospital
has become the general hospital, which integrating
many specialized functions, such as medical
care ,scientific study ,teaching and health
protection. The departments have already formed
their own remarkable characteristics and enjoyed
the comparatively extensive popularity and
prestige. At present , our hospital has 20
specialized dept., such as famous doctor hall,
emergency dept., internal medicine dept, surgical
dept, liver intestines dept, burn dept, andrologic
dept, gynaecologic dept, pediatrics dept,
acupuncture and moxibustion, dermatology dept.,
massage dept, dept. of orthopedics, dept.
of 5 sense organs, stomatological dept., head
of femur necrosis (HFN) dept., intestinal
dept., outpatient of traditional Chinese and
western medicine, operating room , community's
medical treatment , health care department
,etc.. and owns 201 berths of cadre's ward
and common ward (including cardiovascularly
guarding ward).
What
should recommend intentionally is that our
hospital has a vocational expert and medical
personnel team with noble medical ethics.
The whole hospital at present owns 2 famous
old experts of TCM on national level, 4
chief physicians, 23 associate physicians,
1 associate pharmacist, 107 medical personnel
with intermediate professional title, 227
medical personnel with elementary professional
title. Among them, the so-called "famous
doctor's hall " is the place where
the national-wide famous old doctor of TCM
who could offer high-quality diagnosis ,
treatment and advisory service to the masses
and patients.
